Ibaa
Fragrance notes
Character
Ibaa opens with ylang-ylang and orange blossom, brightened by bergamot. The citrus is present but soft, allowing the white flowers to take the lead immediately. This is a floral start that feels composed rather than sprawling, with each note occupying its own space.
The heart introduces leather alongside iris, jasmine, and rose. The leather is dry and textured, sitting close to the powdery softness of the iris. Jasmine and rose add a classic floral weight, but the leather prevents the center from becoming too delicate or traditionally feminine.
Base notes of birch and cade oil bring a smoky, tar-like woodiness that anchors the earlier florals. Juniper adds a fresh, needle-like sharpness, while tobacco contributes a sweet, cured leaf quality. Violet sits underneath, providing a powdery floral bridge between the heart and the foundation.
The overall impression is woody and aromatic, with fresh spicy and citrus accents cutting through the heavier leather and tobacco. It suits a walk through damp woods where the air is cool and the ground smells of wet earth and fallen leaves, the kind of atmosphere where a scent with this much birch and violet feels natural against the surroundings, blending into the environment while the leather and smoke remain close to the skin
