Notes
Our take

Jinkoh Store presents a fragrance built around orris and oud, with Haitian vetiver adding a grounded, earthy texture. Ananda Qi & Iris does not try to be a light seasonal accessory. It is a dense, resinous composition where powdery iris meets dark wood and a heavy amber accord. The white floral elements sit underneath, providing a soft lift without ever taking control of the direction.

The blend feels more artistic than commercial, leaning into the ozonic and woody facets until the air around you smells like damp roots and aged resin. Marius Pana composed a scent that refuses to soften its edges for mass appeal. It carries a distinct weight that feels intentional, though the synthetic edge in the oud note sometimes clashes with the natural, rooty smell of the orris.

This is a choice for someone who enjoys bold, earthy florals and does not mind a fragrance that demands attention. It suits cooler days when a heavy, amber-rich scent feels appropriate, and it pairs well with quiet, solitary moments rather than busy office settings. Those who prefer clean, transparent musks or bright citrus should avoid it entirely.

The primary limitation here is the balance. The transition between the sharp vetiver and the heavy labdanum is not always smooth, leaving the composition feeling slightly disjointed in the middle. The floral heart lacks cohesion, making the overall impression somewhat muddled rather than harmonious.
