Beautiful Horses
Fragrance notes
The sun sits low over a dry paddock where hay bales line the fence and the air carries warm dust. Raspberry leaf breaks first, its green bite wrapped around a small handful of crushed raspberries that stain the fingers. Turkish rose rises through the hay, soft and slightly powdery, while white champaca adds a creamy floral weight that feels heavy in the heat. Lavender sits nearby, cool and clean, keeping the flowers from turning thick. Beneath them, Indian oud spreads a dark, resinous smoke that curls upward past the rose. Castoreum and costus arrive with a rough, animalic edge, and leather follows with a worn, saddle-room scent that feels sun-baked and dry. Musk settles into the dust, binding the smoke and the hay into a single, breathing cloud.
No sweetness lingers here for long, and the fruit disappears into the dry grass within moments. The scent belongs to someone standing at the rail in worn boots, watching the horses move through the late afternoon light, or to an evening walk through dry fields when the air is warm and the grass smells of sun and old leather.
