Our take

Cannabis Patchouli opens with a crisp, surprising snap of bergamot and cedar needles, like a green branch breaking in a cool forest. The heart reveals itself quickly: a dense, herbaceous patchouli wrapped in smoky sage and a whisper of incense, but the promised cannabis remains stubbornly absent, more a ghost in the room than a guest. As it dries, vetiver and soft musk ground the blend into a powdery, warm balsamic skin scent. The overall character feels like an old wooden apothecary cabinet left open in a sunny study: dusty, earthy, and faintly medicinal, but never heavy or loud. With a sillage rating of 2.50 and longevity barely above three hours, this is a shy fragrance that stays close and fades fast, demanding reapplication. It suits someone who wants a quiet, natural-smelling patchouli without any of the skunkiness or rebellion the name implies. Skip it if you expect anything even remotely illicit or if you need projection. This is best worn in fall or spring, during the day, for a walk through dried leaves or a calm afternoon at home. Nicolas Bonneville crafted a polite, woody aromatic that whispers where it should have murmured. A fragrance for the closet, not the party.
