Cashmere Woods
Fragrance notes
Character
Cashmere Woods opens with a soft spray of mandarin orange that carries a distinct whipped cream sweetness. The citrus is gentle rather than sharp, and the dairy note gives it a rounded, airy quality that feels smooth on contact. Jasmine sits in the heart and adds a white floral lift that keeps the opening from feeling too heavy. The floral aspect is clean and steady, providing a bridge between the sugary top and the deeper base.
The base brings cashmere wood and vanilla together in a warm, balsamic blend. Musky and amber accords support the wood, while aldehydic and mineral touches add a faint sparkle that prevents the composition from becoming flat. The lactonic tone from the opening lingers and ties the vanilla to the creamy start. It feels polished and cohesive, moving between sweet and woody without a harsh shift.
The aldehydic edge can feel a bit sharp if the spray is heavy, and the mineral note sometimes reads more metallic than fresh. The vanilla leans synthetic in cooler air, which may bother those who prefer a natural resinous depth. The jasmine is present but stays in the background, so the floral side never fully balances the dense wood and sugar.
