For Attention
Fragrance notes
Character
For Attention opens with almond and green leaves that feel crisp rather than sugary. The almond gives a soft, nutty roundness while the leaves add a fresh, slightly bitter edge that keeps the start from leaning too heavy. Cherry enters soon after, joined by orange blossom and rose. The cherry is the clear focus here, sweet and dark, while the flowers smooth its edges and prevent it from feeling like a candy replica. Patchouli and vetiver sit underneath, adding an earthy, slightly dry texture that grounds the fruit and stops the heart from becoming one-dimensional.
The base brings sandalwood, dry wood, and vanilla. Vanilla adds warmth and a gentle sweetness that lingers as the wood notes take over, creating a dry, slightly powdery finish. The scent stays near the body and does not push outward across a space. It remains present for a reasonable span without demanding constant attention, fading slowly enough to accompany a walk through cool air and fallen leaves or a quiet morning when the light feels pale and the air carries a sharp bite.
Valerie Bessone composed this 2024 release for NIVIRU as a floral fruity gourmand that balances nutty sweetness with dry wood. The almond and cherry lead, but the dry wood and vetiver keep the blend from collapsing into pure sugar, leaving a trail that feels personal and close, suited to someone who wants a fruity scent that does not shout
