A few magnolia petals have fallen onto the stone table, their soft cream scent floating just above the sharper notes. The air feels clean and awake, the kind of morning freshness that makes you take a deeper breath without thinking about it.

A cup of green tea sits forgotten beside a notebook, its steam carrying a gentle warmth that blends into the resinous lift of elemi. Sage brushes against the edge of the scent, dry and slightly woolly, pulling the brightness into something more grounded. The mint has not faded into the background. It runs through the middle of the composition like a cool thread, keeping the citrus from feeling too sharp and the resin from feeling too heavy.

Underneath it all, a smooth amber glow rests against the dry, earthy character of vetiver. The wood does not dominate.
