Dominique Ropion plays with contrast here: the salty marine top notes are crisp and ozonic, but the heart quickly turns powdery and floral, a magnolia that’s been crushed between wet leaves. Then the base settles into a cozy musk and cashmeran, warm and fuzzy like a towel still warm from the dryer. The overall character lands somewhere between a morning swim and the shower that follows, a polished synthetic freshness that leans decidedly mainstream rather than niche. That’s fine for what it is, a pleasant, inoffensive spritz for a hot summer day, when you want to smell clean without announcing yourself from across the room. Because you won’t. The sillage is a whisper, barely 2.5 out of 5, and longevity hovers around three hours before the cashmeran fades into a skin-hugging blur.
