Hojarasca carries a very narrow profile that will not work for everyone. The cinnamon opening is loud and sharp, hitting the nose with a dry heat that can feel abrasive rather than cozy. There is little development beyond that initial spice, so the fragrance stays in one lane from the first spray to the end.
Mario Saldivar composed a scent that feels dense and heavy. The amber and vanilla combine into a thick, powdery blanket that sits close to the skin. Benzoin adds a resinous weight that makes the entire composition feel sticky and rich. It is a gourmand that leans fully into its sugar, leaving no room for freshness or lightness.
