Our take

Indaco opens with a bright, almost fizzy burst of citrus and red berries, the Calabrian bergamot and pink grapefruit cutting through the air like sunlight through autumn leaves. But the sweetness doesn’t linger on the surface. Within minutes, the heart wraps it in a plush, velvety haze of violet, geranium, and benzoin, with Moroccan cedar adding a dry, resinous spine. The Grasse rose and white magnolia feel powdered, soft, as if pressed between the pages of an old book. Then the base takes over, and this is where Indaco finds its true voice: cacao pod, Indonesian patchouli, vanilla, and tonka bean melt into a warm, earthy, almost edible darkness, anchored by vetiver and white musk.

The overall character is like a cashmere throw soaked in dark hot chocolate and dried rose petals, left to air in a room with cedar shelves. It’s not loud — the sillage sits close, a 3.27 that whispers rather than announces, and longevity is a solid but not spectacular 3.64, fading gracefully after six or seven hours. This is a comfort scent for cold weather, best worn in deep winter or rain-soaked autumn evenings, and it leans decisively into night (88%) rather than day.

It suits anyone who loves a sweet, powdery, woody blend with a gourmand twist — think spicy vanilla and patchouli lovers who want something a touch more floral. Skip it if you crave freshness, sharpness, or airy citrus. Indaco is a cozy, slightly introverted fragrance, not a party starter. Is that a weakness? Only if you expect it to roar.
