Ispahan
Fragrance notes
Character
Ispahan by Amberfig opens with a bright, juicy burst of watermelon and raspberry that feels immediate and refreshing. The fruit is not candy-like. It carries a natural, slightly watery quality that keeps the start clean rather than heavy. Cassis adds a small dark edge to the mix, but the overall impression stays light and cheerful.
Rose and damask rose form the center, supported by a smooth layer of honey. The peanut note is subtle here, lending a soft, slightly salty roundness that prevents the florals from feeling too thin. Iris contributes a gentle powder that settles into the white musk and tonka bean base. Vanilla sits quietly in the background, adding warmth without turning the blend sugary.
The fragrance feels approachable and easy to wear during bright, active days when the air is warm and the light feels open. It suits someone who enjoys rose but wants fruit and musk to lead the way. The one limitation is the peanut accord. On some skin it reads a bit flat and dulls the sparkle of the raspberry and watermelon instead of supporting them.
