It carries a dusty, dried quality that blends immediately with the labdanum. The labdanum adds a resinous weight, turning the floral heart into something sticky and amber-like rather than fresh.
Sea salt attempts to cut through the heavy resins. It provides a sharp, mineral breeze that keeps the rose from becoming too cloying. Oakmoss and patchouli anchor the bottom, creating a damp, forest-floor texture. The oud here is smooth and woody, supporting the earthy accords without dominating the entire atmosphere with heavy smoke.
