Our take

Luminous opens with a crisp bite of apple and lemon that feels bright and immediate. The fruit is clean rather than candy-like, giving the entrance a sharp lift that draws attention without overwhelming the senses. It feels modern and polished from the very first spray.

Sage moves in beside the cinnamon to create a warm, herbal heart. The spice is present but restrained, avoiding the heavy bakery feel that often comes with this note. Instead, the combination reads as aromatic and slightly dry, with the green edge of the sage keeping the heat in check.

Cedar and amber form a steady base that leans into wood and resin rather than sugar. Musk adds a soft, powdery texture that smooths the transition from the citrus top to the spicy core. The overall impression is a balanced mix of fresh and warm that suits both casual and formal settings.

The limitation here is the cinnamon. It dominates the heart so strongly that the sage and apple lose their shape once the fragrance settles. What begins as a sharp, interesting blend becomes a single loud spice note that leaves little room for the woods to breathe.
