Character
Mint and orange meet gin at the start, a bright and herbal lift that feels like a drink poured over ice. Lavender sits in both the opening and the heart, tying the citrus to the sugar that follows. The violet in the middle adds a soft, slightly candied floral layer that leans into the sweetness without becoming heavy. This is a green and aromatic blend that stays fresh rather than sharp, with the citrus and herbs keeping the sugar in check.
The drydown moves toward palisander rosewood and white musk, where the wood gives a smooth, polished finish to the powdery rose and lingering lavender. Sugar remains present but settles into the background, letting the musk and wood carry the scent forward. The sweetness here is more like a fine dusting than a thick syrup, and the rose never dominates. It feels composed and calm, with the aromatic edge from earlier now softened into something closer to skin than to a cocktail.
The powdery accord and musky base make it sit comfortably in a sunlit room where windows are open and the air feels clear. Palisander rosewood adds a gentle grain to the finish, like pale wood warmed by daylight.
