Our take

Mogra presents jasmine sambac and lavender alongside bourbon geranium and orris. The floral side stays bright rather than heavy, with the lavender adding a clean edge to the white petals. Oakmoss and Haitian vetiver bring an earthy, mossy character that keeps the flowers from feeling soft. Australian sandalwood and ambrette add a woody depth, while tonka bean rounds the blend with a gentle sweetness. The aromatic and herbal facets run through the whole composition, and a faint rose impression sits in the background without dominating.

The scent feels composed for bright surroundings and open air. It carries a green, fresh spicy quality that suits a clear sky and a steady pace through the day. The mossy foundation gives it enough gravity to stay interesting, but the jasmine and lavender keep the mood lifted. It leans masculine in its dry, herbal stance, yet the florals make it approachable. Someone who enjoys lavender and oakmoss together will find the balance natural. Those who dislike earthy greens or strong geranium may find it too grounded.

Teone Reinthal built a fragrance where sandalwood and vetiver support the jasmine instead of hiding it. The orris and ambrette smooth the transitions between the herbal and woody elements. It smells like a stone path edged with blooming jasmine under a tall lavender hedge.
