The heart blooms with peony and jasmine, but these aren’t the heady, indolic versions you’d find in a white floral soliflore. They’re scrubbed clean, dipped in the same aquatic gloss that makes the whole composition feel more like a scented cloud than a fragrance you can pin down. White musk and sandalwood in the base do little to anchor it, just dust the edges with a light powder and a whisper of wood.
The overall character is a glass of sparkling water with a single rose petal floating on top — pretty, translucent, and gone before you’ve finished the thought. It leans sweet and fresh, undeniably synthetic in that clean, aqueous way that popular florals favor, but the nashi pear gives it a tartness that stops it from being cloying.
