The heart brings a dusty iris and a vague spice blend, oriental but not deep, like someone added cinnamon to a box of baby powder. As it dries, leather creeps in, not raw or smoky, but a smooth, almost plasticky suede, while jasmine adds a faint floral lift. The vanilla never leaves, so the whole thing settles into a warm, powdery, slightly animalic sweetness that clings close to the skin. Longevity is decent at three and a half hours, but sillage is timid, a personal bubble rather than a room-filler, which matches the 2.86 rating. The overall character is that of a retired diplomat’s cologne cabinet: formal, polished, a little dusty, and worn only after dark.
