Orange Cordoue opens with a heavy castoreum presence that dominates the drydown. This animalic leather note feels raw and unpolished, pushing the composition into a territory that many will find challenging. The amber in the base adds a sweet resinous weight that does not soften the edge. Sandalwood tries to provide a creamy foundation, but the musk and leather override it completely.
Tangerine and lemon lead the first spray with a bright citrus flash. Sweet orange lingers through the heart alongside sandalwood and amber. The scent carries well beyond the immediate area and remains present through a full day of wear. Powdery smoke wraps around the citrus as the hours pass. This is a bold choice for anyone who enjoys rugged leather, but the aggressive animalic character makes it difficult to wear in polite company.
