Our take

L'Homme L'Eau spends its whole life in daylight. Prada built it from neroli and ginger, both bright enough to hold up in full sun, and Daniela Andrier keeps the opening citrus-clean and crisp, closer to a glass of tonic water than to anything floral. A fresh spicy edge runs through the ginger, giving the citrus a small friction that makes the first stretch of wear the most interesting part.

Iris and amber move in at the heart, and this is where the powdery, violet-tinted accord takes over: less a flower than a soft cloud settling on the skin. Sandalwood and cedar hold up the base, warm without turning heavy, and the earthy accord keeps the whole thing grounded. Nothing here is loud. The build stays tasteful and fairly conservative, aimed at someone who wants to smell clean and put together without saying much about it.

Projection settles into a small, warm halo around the wearer, the kind a colleague notices leaning in for coffee. On skin, the hold sits at a comfortable middle, felt clearly early on and softer by the time you next glance in a mirror. Real sun and warm pavement suit it best, worn to the office or out for an afternoon outdoors, built entirely for fair weather.
