Raghba leans hard into sweet oud from the first minute, vanilla and sugar poured directly over agarwood and incense with almost no transition or introduction. There's a smoky, balsamic thread running underneath the sugar, giving the sweetness somewhere darker and drier to sit. Sandalwood and musk round out the base, keeping the wood present even once the sugar has had its say, and the whole structure builds like one solid block rather than a set of distinct stages.
It leans almost entirely toward cold weather and evening wear, better suited to winter nights than any daytime or warm-season use, and there is little in the notes that would make sense for a hot afternoon. Staying power is long, the intensity barely dropping once the opening spice has faded, and the trail is modest, a warm haze noticed by anyone standing near. The composition holds its density throughout, sugar and wood staying locked together without a clear shift from one stage to the next.
This kind of heavy, sweet oud works best layered under a coat in winter, not in a season it clearly was not built for. Smoke curls above a stick of oud incense left smoldering in a brass censer, sugar folded into every wisp.
