Patchouli in the base is earthy and dark, grounding the flowers so the composition stays serious rather than playful. Musk smooths the transitions and leaves a clean finish behind the heavier notes. The tea note lingers longer than expected and threads through the later stages, tying the bright opening to the deeper drydown.
The scent sits near the skin and does not push outward as the hours pass. It remains present through a normal day without requiring frequent touch-ups, though it will not announce itself in a crowded room. The patchouli and musk give it a warm, slightly woody foundation that works best in cooler weather and during the evening. The main drawback is the synthetic edge that occasionally rises through the florals, making the jasmine and orchid feel a bit flat and uniform. This artificial quality interrupts the natural impression the tea and rose otherwise provide, and it limits how convincing the blend feels as the fragrance develops.
