Sela Parfum
Fragrance notes
Character
Sela Parfum opens with Laotian oud and Calabrian bergamot, joined by a bright pear note and a sharp ginger accent. Incense sits underneath, giving the entrance a dry, resinous edge that keeps the fruit from leaning sweet. The top feels polished and composed, with the oud presenting a clean wood profile rather than a heavy barnyard character.
The heart develops leather and civet alongside cypriol and Singapore patchouli. Jasmine sambac and Bulgarian rose add floral softness, while amber deepens the core. The animalic accord is present and unmistakable, lending a slightly rough texture to the leather. This stage feels dense and layered, with the patchouli grounding the florals so the composition stays firmly masculine.
Australian sandalwood and Siam benzoin form the base with musk. The sandalwood is creamy and steady, the benzoin brings a mild resinous sweetness, and the musk reinforces the animalic theme from the heart. The transition is smooth, and the base does not shift the mood dramatically. It holds the same dark, intimate atmosphere established earlier.
The overall impression suits a night out in the city when the air is cool and the streets are quiet. The wearer moves through dimly lit spaces where the leather and oud can unfold without bright daylight flattening them. Sela Parfum stays consistent from the first spray to the end. The final impression is a musky accord.
