The air turns crisp with lemon and bergamot, a clean citrus spark that feels like water running over fruit. Freesia drifts through the space with a soft floral lift, gentle and unassuming. Beneath the freshness, teak wood rests against the counter while amber and musk warm the edges of the room without weighing it down. It is a fruity, floral, and sweet atmosphere that stays close to the skin, more aquatic than heavy, more powdery than sharp. The scent belongs to open windows and bare feet on tile, to a table set with nothing formal, just a glass of cold water and a bowl of fruit catching the sun.
Marc Jacobs composed this 2008 release with perfumer Honorine Blanc, and the result is a moment held still. Pear leads the way, bright and juicy, followed by citrus that never bites. Freesia keeps the heart airy while the base notes ground the scene in a quiet, musky warmth. It feels like standing in a sunlit kitchen where the air is fresh, the fruit is cold, and the wood beneath your hands is smooth and dry.
