Our take

Sun Force opens with a surprising jolt of pomelo – tart, almost bitter – that cuts right through the saffron’s metallic shimmer and the honeyed rose. It grabs your attention, then quickly softens as cardamom and olibanum curl in with a gentle, resinous warmth. The heart is where the honey really blooms, not sticky or gourmand but dry and slightly smoky, like a comb left in the sun. As it dries down, benzoin and sandalwood smooth everything into a powdery, musky amber that clings close to the skin. The overall impression is that of a sun-warmed terracotta pot after rain: earthy, aromatic, with a faint sweetness radiating from the clay. This is not a loud fragrance, and the numbers back that up — sillage sits at a modest 2.67 and longevity hovers around 3.5 hours before fading into a soft skin scent. It feels polished and slightly synthetic in the opening (that pomelo note has a neon edge), but the drydown is remarkably natural and comforting. Sun Force is beautifully unisex and works best in transition seasons; despite the high summer and spring scores, I find its resinous warmth most compelling in autumn, worn during a long afternoon walk or a casual dinner. It suits someone who prefers intimacy over projection, who wants to smell interesting without announcing their arrival from across the room. Skip it if you crave a beast-mode bomb or a linear gourmand — this one asks for a bit of patience and a willingness to lean in.
