Ebony and myrrh form a resinous, slightly smoky core. The ebony provides a dense, dark wood character that feels heavy against the initial saltiness. Myrrh contributes a warm, slightly medicinal resin that deepens the profile. Together, these heart notes shift the scent away from the open air and into a more enclosed, solemn space.
Patchouli, vetiver, and cedar anchor the base with dry, earthy woods. The vetiver brings a grassy, root-like dryness, while the cedar offers a familiar, smooth timber facet. Patchouli adds a damp, soil-like weight that grounds the entire structure. The overall impression is woody, aromatic, and salty, leaning into the warm spicy accord as it develops.
