Our take

Mint and grapefruit snap open Tommy with a crisp, almost sporty freshness, quickly joined by green apple and cranberry for a tart, fruity edge. Bergamot rounds out the citrus trio, adding a little floral polish to the grapefruit's sharper cut. It holds for an average stretch, comfortable and unfussy, and the sillage stays private, close enough that it reads as mostly the wearer's own experience. Cotton flower and cactus round out the base with an odd, slightly powdery-green freshness that keeps the whole thing feeling clean rather than sweet.

Lavender and rose add a soft, slightly powdery texture through the heart, an odd but likable pairing against all that fruit and citrus up top. Rose stays fairly quiet under the lavender, more texture than scent, easy to miss on a quick pass. Cactus is an unusual note to name outright, more a texture than a smell, giving the drydown a dry, green quality, lighter than the amber-heavy warmth most masculines lean on.

This is a light, easy, warm-weather scent, more suited to a backyard barbecue than a boardroom. Its charm is in that unserious, fruity-green freshness, not in any technical ambition.
