Our take

Coriander and bergamot open with a bright, slightly peppery lift that feels clean rather than sharp. The citrus is quick to step aside once the heart appears. Vetiver brings a dry, earthy edge that keeps the opening from leaning too sweet. Orris adds a soft, powdery texture that sits between the green top and the heavier base.

Tonka bean and musk create a warm, rounded foundation that feels smooth against the skin. Ambroxan gives the blend a modern, slightly synthetic amber glow. The overall impression is polished and composed, with a clear line from the spicy start to the musky finish. It smells like a city street after rain when the air turns cool and the coat comes out.

The powdery accord is prominent throughout and may feel dated to some wearers. It leans heavily on that iris and musk combination, which can read as old-fashioned rather than fresh. The sweetness from the vanilla accord is present but restrained, never becoming a gourmand. It suits someone who enjoys classic floral woody musks with a vintage tilt.

Composed by Amandine Clerc-Marie, this fragrance stays firmly in one lane. The synthetic edge in the amber may bother those who prefer fully natural materials. It lacks the sparkle or contrast that would make it feel versatile across different moods. The powdery weight is the one aspect that limits its appeal.
