Our take

Sensi White Notes opens with a bright, almost tart citrus accord – lime and lemon cutting through black currant’s berry sweetness, cassia adding a green, slightly spicy edge that keeps things from falling into generic fruity territory. Within minutes, the heart blooms into a cool, watery bouquet: freesia and water hyacinth lend a dewy transparency, while lily-of-the-valley and rose remain crisp rather than powdery. The base is where the surprise lives – instead of a heavy amber or vanilla, you get Brazilian rosewood and mahogany, a soft woody warmth that anchors the florals without muddying them. The overall effect is like stepping into a greenhouse after a spring rain, all wet petals and polished wood.

This is a linear experience in the best sense, not cloying or synthetic, but it does have a notable weakness: longevity hovers around three hours, and sillage is a modest whisper. You’ll need to reapply if you want presence after lunch. It feels mainstream but with a thoughtful restraint – Alberto Morillas and Harry Fremont knew when to stop adding notes.

Best suited for the woman who wants a clean, elegant floral that doesn’t shout. Skip it if you crave projection or a dark, humid scent. Wear this on a sunny weekday outing, a garden party, or a calm office day – it’s 100% daylight, utterly spring and summer, and utterly unpretentious.
