Our take

Peach and osmanthus open Good Girl Gone Bad with a soft, fruited warmth, and neroli and bergamot add a green citrus lift on top. Neroli in particular holds the opening at a fresher, greener register than the peach alone would suggest. By the heart, tuberose takes over, thick and lactonic, next to jasmine, narcissus and May rose. It carries enough to be noticed by whoever you're speaking with without pushing further, and staying power is middling, neither long nor especially brief.

Amber, cedar, sandalwood, patchouli and vetiver settle underneath, turning the sweetness woody and a little dry by the end. Patchouli is the note doing the most work by the end, giving the composition a dry, earthy floor beneath all that fruit. The rose and yellow floral notes from the heart keep drifting up through this base, so the transition never feels abrupt.

Spring is when it performs best, though the warmth in the base carries it comfortably into cooler months too. Anyone expecting a purely fruity floral will be surprised by how much woody depth shows up once the top notes fade, which is arguably the most interesting part of the composition.
