Our take

Aldehydes give Dia Woman a clean, soapy fizz right at the start, sharp and bright before the greener notes settle in. Cyclamen and violet leaf keep the opening green, while fig and sage add an odd, herbal note underneath the bergamot and citrus. Tarragon is the more surprising addition here, a faint anise-like herb note tucked into the top accord.

Turkish rose oil and orange blossom take over at the heart, given a powdery lift by orris root and a fruit-soft edge from peach blossom, staying warm and rounded despite all the aldehydes up top. Peony joins the rose and orange blossom too, softening the whole heart into something rounder than the sharp aldehydic opening.

White musk, sandalwood and incense settle the base into something dry and woody, with heliotrope adding a powdery, almond-adjacent sweetness and guaiac wood keeping the whole thing anchored. Sandalwood in particular gives the drydown a creamy, slightly milky warmth that lingers well after the citrus and aldehydes on top have gone. It sticks around for a long stretch once it settles, staying close to the skin as a quiet, personal warmth that never spreads outward into the room. The restraint throughout is the signature, aldehydes and rose given room to breathe instead of piled on thick.
