Reflection Woman

Reflection Woman doesn't try to be complicated. Green leaves and water violet give it a cut-stem freshness before freesia adds a light, watery floral sweetness. Maurice Roucel keeps magnolia and jasmine soft in the heart, more dewy than heady, closer to a bouquet still damp from the garden than a heavy indoor floral. There is a slight bitterness running through the green leaves that keeps the whole opening from feeling too polite, a small edge under all that freshness.
