Club de Nuit Blue Iconic
Fragrance notes
Character
Club de Nuit Blue Iconic opens on a full citrus stack, grapefruit, lemon, and mint together, sharpened further by pink pepper and coriander for a fresh, slightly spiced brightness. Ginger, melon, and jasmine soften the transition into the heart, and nutmeg adds a warm undertone underneath the citrus.
The base is where the composition earns its name in full: woody notes, incense, sandalwood, amber, cedar, patchouli, and labdanum stack up into something dense and resinous, balsamic and faintly smoky by the finish. It holds on for a long stretch once the citrus has faded. What lingers is compact and easy to place, noticed mainly by whoever is standing near.
This wears comfortably across most of the year, strongest through spring and summer, though the amber and patchouli base give it enough weight for cooler weather too. It suits daytime wear more naturally than a black-tie evening, an easy fragrance for an errand or an ordinary commute.
The citrus-to-wood arc is the most satisfying part of the whole composition, moving from bright grapefruit and mint down to resinous amber and patchouli without an awkward seam in between. It is a straightforward, well-built fragrance that does not overreach, spice and citrus up top, wood and balsam underneath, nothing extra competing for attention.
