Club de Nuit Intense Man Parfum
Fragrance notes
Character
Club de Nuit Intense Man Parfum opens with a fruit bowl tipped straight into a glass: lemon, pineapple, bergamot, black currant and apple all arriving at once, sharp and a little sweet. There is no single citrus or single fruit doing the work, it is the pile-up itself that gives the opening its character, loud and a bit chaotic in a way that settles within the first few minutes.
Birch brings a smoky note into the heart, an unusual pairing against jasmine and rose that pushes the florals toward something darker and drier than a typical rose-jasmine pairing.
Ambergris, musk and patchouli anchor the base, with vanilla adding just enough sweetness to soften the smoke without erasing it. The leather accord shows up here too, more suggested than literal, a dry warmth under the fruit and smoke rather than a distinct note of its own.
Sillage carries well, picked up by people across a small room before they can place where it's coming from. Longevity proves to be a real strength, the fragrance holding its shape well after lighter compositions have faded. It wears easily across most of the year, standing up to summer heat without losing its structure, loud and a little chaotic in the same way its opening was, confidence over nuance from start to finish.
