Ego Panthera
Fragrance notes
Character
Ego Panthera opens with a sharp lemon note that cuts through the cool heat of pink pepper and cardamom. Frankincense enters early, adding a dry, resinous edge that keeps the citrus from feeling bright or cheerful. The spices here are not fiery. They sit close to the skin in a dusty, powdered form that feels deliberate and controlled.
Clary sage and lavender take over the middle, leaning heavily into the aromatic side of the composition. The lavender is clean and slightly medicinal, while the sage pulls the blend toward something green and dry. This heart does not soften the fragrance. It maintains the same firm, structured tone set by the opening spices.
The base is where the amber and leather make their presence known. Amber brings a warm, golden sweetness that contrasts with the rough texture of the leather accord. Vetiver and cedar provide a dry, earthy foundation, while ambroxan adds a modern, synthetic glow. Sandalwood rounds out the woods with a smoother, creamier touch.
Animalic hints linger beneath the surface of the amber, giving the entire composition a darker, more primal character suited for dimly lit rooms and late evening air. The spices never fully disappear, trailing into the base to mingle with the woods and resin.
