Our take

So this is Flowerbomb Extreme trying to be a grenade of sugar and petals, and it mostly works. It opens with a raspberry so glossy and syrupy it feels like jam scraped straight from the jar, no tartness, just a gleeful sweetness that ricochets off the top of your skull. That fruit lingers through the heart, where rose, jasmine and orange blossom come in like a bouquet soaked in honey, each flower losing its individual edge to a powdery, vanilla-laced cloud. The base is vanilla bean that turns the whole thing into a kind of edible, fuzzy blanket, cozy but dense. The overall character is a pink velvet cake left in a hot car, rich, cloying, and utterly committed to its own decadence. With a longevity score of 3.47 and sillage barely scraping 2.92, it wears close to the skin and fades faster than you expect from something called Extreme, which is both a relief and a disappointment. The powdery dry down feels more synthetic than natural, more mainstream boutique than niche lab. This is for the person who wants to smell like a glittery Valentine’s Day display, not someone who craves greenery or restraint. Skip it if you prefer airy, citrusy, or anything that doesn’t announce itself with a spoonful of sugar first. Wear it to a winter wedding or a crisp spring brunch when you want to feel pretty and unapologetically sweet, just don’t expect it to follow you out the door.
