Almond and milk open soft and creamy, saffron adding a warm, spiced thread almost right away. Toffee and bourbon vanilla take over in the heart, thick and dessert-like, caramel and nutty facets making it smell closer to warm pastry than fresh fruit. Sandalwood and white musk settle underneath, adding a soft, powdery dryness that keeps the composition smelling like perfume rather than straight dessert.
Staying power is genuinely long-lasting, the almond-toffee warmth sticking to skin well after the initial spiced saffron has faded. This is dense, sweet stuff that can feel heavy in warm weather, better suited to winter's chill than summer heat. Some will find it too dense and sweet to wear without hesitation, and that heaviness is exactly the appeal for people already drawn to gourmand orientals.
Sillage sits as a modest bubble, warm and enveloping at close range, felt most by whoever shares the same space. Fall and winter are its natural season, when the weather matches the richness, and it leans toward evening wear, better suited to dinner than a quick daytime errand. Xerjoff built something rich and a little indulgent here, best saved for the colder half of the year when its density feels earned, not excessive.
