Rosewood, lavender, cinnamon and a quick flash of apple open this fast. Lavender adds a cool, herbal note that tempers the cinnamon early on, and within minutes rose and cedar move in, giving the top a soft, almost powdery frame around a base that is already taking shape. Oud sits under the amber from the very start, not sharp, just present, and by the time sandalwood, vanilla and musk fill in the base, the whole thing has become a dense, warm construction built for cold air.

Fall and winter are clearly where this lives; a warm spring day flattens the amber into something heavier than it should be. It has real reach without ever feeling loud, warming a coat collar more than an entire room, and once the oud and amber lock in they are hard to shift, holding their shape long after the last spray.

Rose and lily-of-the-valley barely survive the trip to the drydown, more a bridge than a real presence once the base takes over. Skin chemistry decides a lot here: some wearers get more vanilla and cinnamon, others get more cedar and oud, so the exact balance shifts from person to person.
