Original Vetiver
Fragrance notes
Character
Vetiver here stays green and earthy rather than sharp or overtly dry. Bergamot, ginger and mandarin orange open bright and a little spicy, fading into a heart where the vetiver takes real control, backed by sandalwood and a touch of iris for a powdery softness. Ginger keeps the opening lively without pushing it toward anything gourmand, and the citrus never fully leaves, resurfacing faintly whenever the vetiver eases up.
Musk and ambergris round out the base, giving the vetiver a warm, slightly sweet finish it wouldn't have on its own. That finish is subtle enough that most people wearing it would describe the whole thing as clean, not earthy, even though the raw vetiver is doing most of the work underneath.
Wear time keeps a fair, ordinary pace, present for a reasonable while and then quietly gone. Its presence stays understated too, the kind that needs someone standing near you to register at all. Original Vetiver is built for warm weather more than cold, spring and summer its clearest home, a green, citrus-forward take on a note that can otherwise run heavy and dark.
