The argument for this rests on the base, where patchouli returns alongside oakmoss, vetiver, cedar, amber, and white musk. This drydown is earthy and mossy, leaning into the woody accord with a grounded texture that feels appropriate when the sky is gray and the pavement is damp. It is a scent that settles into the skin with a musky weight, offering a serious aromatic profile that does not try to be bright or uplifting.
