Fragrance notes
Character
House of Atropa presents a composition that opens with bright pineapple and raspberry, but the grass note pulls the fruit into a crisp, green space. The initial spray feels alive and tangy, yet it avoids becoming a simple candy scent because the vegetation keeps the edges sharp. Lisa Andrék built a transition where the heart introduces coffee alongside a returning raspberry, and the metallic accord from the record gives the air around the wearer a cool, industrial shimmer. It is a modern mix that feels more like a textured surface than a traditional bouquet.
The base brings oud and behini tree to ground the earlier energy. This is where the warm spicy and mineral accords settle in, creating a dry, resinous foundation that feels substantial against the skin. The tropical hint from the fruit remains, but it is now wrapped in something darker and more serious. It is a fragrance that suits a person who enjoys contrasts, where the sweetness of the opening is met with a woody, almost austere finish. The synthetic edge of the metallic facet blends with the natural oud to create a scent that is both futuristic and ancient.
Wearing this feels appropriate for a dimly lit concrete loft where the heat of a gathering pushes against the cold glass of the windows. The air is filled with the scent of dark roast coffee cups resting on stone tables, while a bowl of sliced fruit sits forgotten near a glowing fireplace. It is a fragrance that smells like walking through a greenhouse built entirely of steel and polished wood.
