Sicilian lemon and pomegranate open Eros Pour Femme with a sharp, juicy brightness, quickly folded into lemon blossom and a double dose of jasmine through the heart. It holds for an average length of wear, nothing exceptional but nothing thin either, and the sillage forms a soft, close bubble that mostly stays with whoever's wearing it. Ambroxan and sandalwood round out the base with a clean, musky woodiness that anchors the brightness above it.
Jasmine sambac is really the star of the composition, giving the fragrance more depth than the fruity, citrus-driven opening suggests. Peony softens the transition into the base, and the woody-musky drydown stays clean and contemporary, with a faint powdery accord lingering underneath the whole thing. Lemon blossom bridges the citrus opening and the floral heart smoothly, softening what could otherwise feel like an abrupt jump.
It's an easy, warm-weather floral, well suited to daytime wear and not particularly demanding of the occasion. The jasmine-forward heart gives it more character than the bright citrus opening promises, tipping the whole thing toward something a little more grown-up than a simple fruity floral.
