Maestrale
Fragrance notes
Character
Maestrale is built for the person who wants a fruity scent without losing their edge. The opening makes the case immediately with grapefruit and juniper berries, bright and resinous at once, while saffron adds a warm, slightly metallic lift. It is not a casual spritz for a lazy morning. The raspberry and leather heart argues for something more deliberate, a fragrance that walks into a room with intent and stays there while conversations continue around it.
The leather here is smooth and polished, not rugged, and the black violet gives it a powdery, slightly animalic depth that keeps the fruit from reading like candy. Luca Gritti composed a profile where cashmeran and vetiver ground the sweetness so it feels architectural rather than edible. You smell the raspberry clearly, but it behaves like a material in a structure rather than a topping on a dessert.
This is a scent for crisp daylight in a city with stone buildings and open avenues. It fits a jacket over a sweater, a meeting that runs long, and the kind of air that makes you zip up before lunch. The scent carries well through a busy space, and the trail lingers on fabric and skin for hours without needing a second application.
Picture a sunlit piazza where the wind carries sea salt and fallen citrus across warm stone.
