Fragrance notes
Character
Pink grapefruit and red currant leaf make the opening tart and a little green, more like crushed leaves than ripe fruit, with Sicilian bergamot smoothing the sharpest edges. It smells young and casual from the first spray, the kind of citrus built for daytime layering under a plain shirt. Cactus is the note doing something unusual in the middle: a dry, slightly juicy green quality underneath the florals, with orchid adding a soft, powdery warmth beneath it.
Vanilla, red cedar and amber move in for the base, finally giving the fragrance some real warmth. The vanilla stays thin and milky, with a clean, powdery edge instead of any heaviness, and the cedar gives it a light woody structure underneath. Amber adds a final soft warmth that lingers longest of anything in the composition, though not by much: it is a skin scent that keeps mostly to itself, and it runs a middling pace, present then gone.
It shows its citrus-and-cactus brightness best out in daylight warmth, with room to breathe in the open air. This is easy, unfussy daytime wear, clean and understated, built for layering more than for standing out. It never asks to be the center of attention, staying modest in the drydown just as it was up top.
