Our take

Sage and green notes give the opening an herbal, slightly bitter edge that keeps freesia and the citrus notes from turning too sweet too soon. Mandarin orange and the rest of the citrus barely register on their own, folded so tightly into the green accord that they mostly read as brightness. It smells more like a garden after rain than a bouquet on a table, green and slightly damp before the florals fully arrive.

Sophia Grojsman built an enormous heart here, carnation, lily, narcissus, marigold, violet, rose and jasmine all layered together, and somehow none of them overwhelms the others. It comes across as one continuous white-and-green floral wash, with no single note taking a solo turn.

Heliotrope and musk soften the base considerably, giving the drydown a powdery, clean finish, while sandalwood, amber and patchouli add real weight, anchoring the whole thing to skin. It holds up decently on skin, and the sillage stays gentle, a small personal cloud rather than a big statement. Spring is its strongest season by a wide margin, and daylight suits it far better than evening does given how fresh and green the whole thing stays.
