Amuro 16
Fragrance notes
Character
Amuro 16 opens with coriander and jasmine. The coriander brings a fresh, slightly peppery green edge that cuts through the white flower immediately. Jasmine sits beside it, soft and slightly indolic, giving the start a clean but noticeable floral presence.
The heart introduces patchouli and hyacinth alongside more jasmine. Patchouli adds a damp, earthy depth that grounds the lighter flowers. Hyacinth contributes a crisp green stem quality. The jasmine continues from the opening, now surrounded by heavier and sharper companions.
The base rests on vanilla, cedar, and amber. Vanilla provides a smooth sweetness that blends into the warm resin of amber. Cedar gives a dry wood backing that keeps the sweetness from becoming heavy. The result is a warm, woody floral with clear green and spicy facets.
The overall impression is a bouquet of white petals placed on a wooden vanity, with a bowl of crushed green herbs sitting nearby and a small amber resin lamp glowing in the corner.
