Scarlett opens on pear, tea and Amalfi lemon, crisp and a little green, tea in particular giving it a dry, bitter edge on top of the fruit rather than straight juice sweetness. Honeysuckle and African orange flower arrive within minutes, pushing the whole thing warmer and sweeter, and jasmine threads through the middle so the florals stay layered and distinct. The shift from crisp citrus to something closer to warm honey happens fast, the tea note fading out almost as quickly as it arrived.
White honey is the real character of this fragrance, arriving in the base alongside musk and sandalwood to build a soft, slightly sticky sweetness that feels more like beeswax than refined sugar. Musk keeps the whole base grounded, giving the honey a soft, woody floor and stopping any drift toward something too sugary, while sandalwood adds a pale, creamy depth underneath that lingers longest of everything in the composition. Persistence is middling, never overstaying its warmth, and projection is soft, an aura carried mostly by body heat. Spring is when Scarlett performs best, its citrus opening and honeyed base both suited to mild, bright weather more than deep cold. It is a gentle, wearable fragrance, sweet without asking for much attention in return, comfortable and easy from open to close.
