As the fruit settles, a bouquet of red rose and jasmine unfurls, creamy and unabashedly romantic, softened by a whisper of lily of the valley. The dry down is a warm vanilla and white musk embrace, with cedar lending just enough backbone to keep it from turning into a generic sugar bomb. The overall character is like a hastily scribbled love letter on pink stationery, smudged by a single tear of vanilla. It feels sweet and fresh, undeniably synthetic in that cheerful, mainstream way, but the execution is polished.
The nose, Dora Baghriche, has crafted a fragrance that is pleasant but frustratingly ephemeral. With a sillage of 2.45 and longevity barely scraping past three hours, this Eau de Parfum seems to evaporate before the heart has fully bloomed. It’s a shame because the balance of fruity top notes and floral heart is genuinely enjoyable for spring days and sun-drenched summer afternoons. You will need to reapply generously, which makes the 2024 launch feel less like a powerhouse and more like a sweet, fleeting flirtation.
