Kiwi and rhubarb open D&G Anthology L'Imperatrice 3 on a sharp, almost sour fruit snap, before watermelon and cyclamen turn it juicy and a little candied. Pink pepper gives the top a spicy edge alongside the sweetness, and jasmine adds a thin floral thread through the middle. By the base, lemon tree, musk and sandalwood calm the fruit down into something softer and cleaner. This is built for warm weather: beach bags, daytime errands, anywhere the ozonic, aquatic accord can do its job in the heat. It has almost no place after dark, and its whole personality leans toward daylight hours outdoors, tropical and green in feel.
Staying power is moderate, and the sillage stays a small halo, easy to layer without it ever getting heavy. That modest reach is a real limitation if you want one spray to carry a whole event, but for a fun, disposable summer scent built entirely around fruit, it does exactly what it sets out to do.
