Ambery Mint by Dossier opens with a distinct chill. The mint arrives first, bright and cool, followed closely by the tart snap of lemon and the crisp bite of green apple. This initial phase feels clean and energetic, leaning heavily into the citrus and green accords that define the top layer. It presents a straightforward freshness that does not try to be complex, offering a clear, invigorating start that feels immediate and sharp.
The heart introduces a drier, earthier character as the cedar and vetiver emerge. Geranium adds a floral, slightly herbal edge that bridges the gap between the cool opening and the warmer base. The aromatic and fresh spicy accords become more noticeable here, grounding the initial fruitiness with woody textures. It shifts from a purely cold impression to something more structured, where the greenery feels textured rather than just sharp.
As it settles, the amber, tonka bean, and vanilla create a soft, sweet foundation.
