Aoud Leather is built for the person who wants a leather jacket with a sticky candy counter still in the pocket. The opening places the material front and center, dark and slightly waxy, but the vanilla arrives immediately to soften the edges. Tomato leaf adds a green, slightly metallic snap that keeps the first minutes from feeling too heavy. It is a strange combination that works because the leather is not the polished kind found in formal offices. It smells like something worn outdoors, then brought inside.
The heart deepens that green thread. Clary sage and galbanum twist the leaf idea into something more herbal and dry, while orris brings the iris accord forward with a powdery weight. The leather recedes just enough for the herbs to breathe, creating a moment where the fragrance feels more like a garden shed than a workshop. That earthy accord anchors the middle, giving the scent a grounded, slightly dusty character that feels intentional rather than accidental.
